This app Rocks

... and Blueses, and metals and .....
Ok, excuse me for the poor joke...

Very nicely done, but you can still do something to make it more amazeing:

First of all pimp the graphics.

Secondly, it could be interesting to add "apps in the app". I'm thinkin of games.
A easy one could be the Music quiz, directly imported from iPod.
Another idea could be adding some rythm based games or, if there exists something like that, link to a "rythm games library" and let you use them within Music Quest.

Finally i'll expose a ilttle dream i always had about music browsing software:
A "note key" search criteria that lets you create random playlists (within a genre or totally random) matching sons endings and beginnings for theyr keynote.
This last one is sophisticated and, for as far i can imagine, it would need a lot of works on things i don't even think exist BUT, who knows, maybe you're more resourcefull than i think.

Again, good job!

What we have here is a simple platform structure (reminds a lot of "Robot wants..") pimped up with a very nice story line, amazing effects and lovely soundtracks. It becomes evident that there's a lot of work behind this game even just paying attention to details like the very well scripted angle deforming view or the sound distance and the shooting "map recoil"...
This is one very nice game and i'd recommend it for the FP. Good job!

this should go in art portal :/

I owe you a laugh, but this is not supposed to be a flash i think.
Just make it as an image, and it might have a good feedback, but as an animation can't give your submission more than 3 (since there's no animation).

Little improvements would make it perfect

Now there's a lot of things to say. First of all, the overall experience is nice, it's one of those game that have a high addiction factor. The re-interpretation of the original navigation system makes the game more playable (i never liked the original control system, even if i always found it somehow interesting).
A little list of things that you could improve:
-Game graphics. They work fine but some little improvements could make the whole experience more enjoyable
-Hit area, this is the most importat thing to fix i think. Make the hit area the same shape of the object it is for (asteroids, bullets, powerups and player ship)
-Audio FX, those need a fix. I'd suggest some higher quality sounds, preferably short so that you don't have too many noise in high asteroids traffic situation.
-Powerup direction, as Sciotix sayd, having powerups going around in different directions would be more interesting than having them just falling around.

I'd also be tempted to suggest a lower powerup drop rat, but the actual just fits perfectly and make the game more addictive.

So, it works and it's nice, but with little improvements it'd just be perfect ;).
4/5

Ah, know what? Maybe an extra "original graphics" unlockable feature would be nice :)

Enjoyable

Sweet good old "fly 'n shoot" buisness. I loved the bullet impact system, that's one scripting-candy. About the gameplay, sometimes gets a little slow: there are phases in wich you just have to dodge while waiting to get to the next building, and that meanwhile is not very challenging. If there were some sort of powerup or something to alter the gameplay it could have been more addictive. Perfect for a quick break. 8/10

The game concept is fine and it has potential, but the graphics needs much improvement, also the audio effects are quite basic. For now things just work, but we always look forwards for things to excel, don't we?
Fix up these aspects and we'll have a feature of the day. :) 3/5

All the work that clearly is behind this game greatly repays for the players: The game is very enjoyable! Even if here and there some very small things could have been improved (more "fast paced" animations and a more crude choice of audio FX would have made the whole experience more immersive) the overall result is very good!
What else? If instead of flash the support was some kick-ass graphics with nice physics engine (about that, how much fun would be shaking the zombies off the windshield steering violently left and right and splattering them around?) the result would be even more awesome! Cause what we have now already shows to be an emergent product.

Great job guys! 5/5

Evil-Dog responds:

That's a detailed review!
I'm not sure what you mean with "more crude", that doesn't sound like a good thing
Also your comment about the game being on something else than flash is really irelevant, you're on a flash portal, you could say that about all the games.
Thanks for the review dude :D

Don't take it bad for the vote, i tried to be the most objective i could (in my heart that 4's a 6 :D)...
This game has a lot of potential. The idea is simple, as the graphics, and both work perfectly. But, all of this potential needs to be unsleashed:
Add audio FX, Music, more levels, fix up that "only one level" thing and do not obligate to send the scores (make it as an option instead! These kind of things may "scare" players and make them close the game... Bad for "propaganda!").

Fix up this things and more souls than you could imagine will avoid intere afternoons of useful activity to play this game (i'll probably be one of those XD).

Did i already mentioned that it's also goddam addictive?? :)

carousel123 responds:

Thank you very much for your instructions and feedback. It os very helpful for me. Can you give me advice about how I can earn money with game? :)

Keep on goin

Since it's still beta i'll skip the detailed review, and i'll just give y suggestion on what to improve.

Graphics: Yes you said it, but just to keep in mind, cannon, soldiers, background, menu, maybe even a dynamic cursor for the pointer... pretty much everything!

Audio: Find higher quality sounds and i'd suggest to find different sounds for the cannon, and also a sound for reloading. Some death sound would be also nice. Also, a music! One for menù and one for the game. Nothing too annoying, some low profile music i'd say.

Animations: if insead of blue balls chasing your base there where little guys splattering around when hit it would be much better! Maybe with persistent blood or, in case you don't want it too much splatter, just the body fading, or a little explosion, a "POP!"...

Also checkout the Script, it starts scattering sometimes.
Keep on, we've got a nice game coming on...

Very nice!

Good old fashion of pixels and "pixely" audio, smootly deals emerges from the many games with similar gameplay that are coming out in these months.
Very enjoyable,
Good job!
